The Squendling Brothers refers to the fraternal friends, Peter Eash-Scott and Greg Wendling. Of course, "Squendling" is a traditional Squirman (Scottish and German) name. These two Mennonite men have collaborated together on many projects. To find out about current productions, check out the More To Come page. From their 4-year radio show at Goshen College, to their mockumentary videos, to their numerous theatre and sketch comedy productions, the Squendling Brothers have explored and enjoyed many different creative avenues together. In their time spent apart, they have continued to hone their artistic and ministerial skills. Greg has been an active participant of the thriving Chicago sketch comedy scene since 2004, has studied at Chicago's famed Second City and Chicago Dramatists, and in the last 6 years has written, produced, directed and performed in over 20 original sketch comedy shows at various theatres in Chicago. |

Peter served as a pastor at Pittsburgh Mennonite Church for three years and has since moved to Lancaster, where he is a stay-at-home dad of two young boys. He converses daily with his 3-year-old son, John, as a host of characters from Winnie-the-Pooh, Brer Rabbit, Frog & Toad, and many others. He has also directed, filmed, edited, and starred in an homage to Buster Keaton written by his 7-year-old son, Daniel. Their next project (in production) will pay tribute to the great Charlie Chaplin. With such colorful backgrounds, the Squendling Brothers provide thoughtful entertainment appropriate for youth and young adults, as well as intergenerational congregations. Their distinctive blend of sketch comedy, video and animation appeals to all sorts of people, not just Squirman and Mennonites. Interested in finding out more or booking the Squendling Brothers?
